Q: Where is my order? How can I track it?
A: Upon placing your order through the shopping cart, you will receive an order confirmation email explaining that your order has been received and is being processed. As soon as your order is processed, you will receive a second email, confirming the processing and shipping of your order. The shipping confirmation email contains FedEx tracking information that you can insert at FedEx.com to track your order.

Q: How do I assemble the Bona Hardwood Floor Mop?
A: We recommend watching our short Assembly Video. The Bona Hardwood Mop is very easy to put together. The one key step is to ensure the green locking ring is NOT engaged prior to putting the upper and lower assembly together.
Q: Are the cartridges for the Bona Hardwood Floor Mop refillable? Why not?
A: No. It is critical for a homeowner to use the proper maintenance techniques on their hardwood floor. We often hear of people using harmful cleaners on their floors like water and vinegar, which is acidic and actually dulls the wood. In order to ensure that our customers are using our safe, non-toxic cleaner, we made these a one-time-use cartridge. Keeping the environment in mind, we made the cartridges completely recyclable.
Q: What is the difference between Hardwood and Stone, Tile & Laminate Cleaners?
A: Hardwood Floor Cleaner is specifically designed for unwaxed polyurethane finished floors. Stone, Tile & Laminate Cleaner is a slightly different formula designed for most other hard, sealed surfaces.
Q: Can I clean my laminate floors with Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner?
A: Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner can be used on laminate flooring; however, we always recommend using a cleaner that is specifically designed for the surface that needs to be cleaned. Bona Stone, Tile & Laminate Floor Cleaner is specifically designed for stone, tile, and laminate surfaces.
Q: Are your products safe for my children and/or pets?
A: Yes, our floor cleaners are non-toxic and GREENGUARD certified for indoor air quality and the more rigorous Children and Schools program. This means they passed the standards established by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI) to define low emitting materials for educational and learning/play environments for young children. These products meet the most stringent chemical emissions criteria defined by the State of California's Department of Health Services Standard Practice (CA Section 01350), and also are tested for additional chemicals suspected of causing health issues in children.
Q: Do I need to dilute or mix your cleaner with water?
A: No, the cleaner is ready-to-use.
Q: How do I get the top of the spray bottle off so I can re-fill it with the Bona Gallon Refill?
A: With slight pressure down, twist the top to the left and it will detach. If you are still having problems, watch our brief instructional video.
Q: Can I wash the microfiber pad? If so, how many times before I need to replace it?
A: Yes, they are machine washable; however, we recommend avoiding the use of bleach, fabric softener, and dryer sheets when washing. They can be washed up to 300 times.
Q: What is the difference between Bona Hardwood Floor Refresher and Bona Hardwood Floor Polish?
A: Bona Hardwood Floor Refresher is a 100% urethane coating designed to refresh older, worn floors with a durable gloss shine. Refresher is recoatable with polyurethane finishes. Use every 4-6 months.
Bona Hardwood Floor Polish is designed for any floor, old or new. Its urethane-acrylic blend evens out the floor's appearance and provides a durable wear layer. Polish adds shine to dull areas while reducing the sheen of overly glossy areas. It is not recoatable with polyurethane finishes or Bona Refresher. Use every 1-2 months to keep floors looking their best.
Always refer to the instructions before using Polish or Refresher.
