Bona® Hardwood Floor Cleaner is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 5825.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaves greasy looking footprints. Bought as recommended by the floor installer. Aside from tired of pump spraying...I assume the floor is clean as long as you don’t walk on it. Leaves footprints, even from 4lb Chihuahuas! I’ll look for something better & it’s this 1/2 gallon jug. I should have read reviews first!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dull floor result I used the hardwood floor cleaner in an upstairs hall that only has traffic from two adults. Regular care is dry-mopping or vacuuming with a very occasional damp mopping, done recently with a barely damp mop. The matte poly finish still looks (looked good). Feeling that I should be doing more, I used this cleaner; my husband had said reviews were good. I should have cleaned only a small test area because now the floor is dull. I called Customer Support, who said I should use the Power Plus cleaner, as I do not use the hardwood cleaner frequently, and that what I am seeing is residue that the cleaner was attempting to lift from the floor. The Power Plus will apparently remove the film. Apparently you should use the hardwood floor cleaner frequently, even daily. The rep suggested I try the product on a mirror, and indeed it did not leave a film. I am reluctant to use yet another product on top of this, and will try to buff off the film (manually). I see lots of other people have the same problem. Perhaps I should have stuck to Simple Green.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cleaned up nasty residue My floors have been looking terrible! I have been using Mr. Clean because I have a puppy who has accidents but it left a horrible residue. Found online a recipe using ammonia but it is winter and I am not opening the windows to get the ammonia fumes out. My sister recommended Bona. I was skeptical but thought it was worth a try. OMG! It cleaned all of the residue right off. My floors look great brand new. It is a forever product in my home!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t use this product Don’t use this product, it will ruin your floor. We used and after 3 years we realized it was building up a gross layer on the top of our real wood floor. We have tried everything to scrape it off and Bona also doesn’t have a solution for the problem they create to us. Expensive product and ruined our expensive floor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Haze We have been using Bona for several years. At first it worked great. Over the last year or so our floors have become hazy/cloudy and they look horrible. Boba is the only product that we use on our floors.
